Friday Favorites Vol. 3

Friday Favorites Vol. 3

Every Friday I take the time to point out some things I'm obsessed with in entertainment. If you're loving the same things I am or discover something new, let me know in the comments below!

Cameron Terrell - Sumthin

I discovered this gem on the latest episode of Guys We F**cked. This song is super refreshing and feels like the summer time. Summer may be ending soon, but you can definitely hold on to this song for a while.

Britney Spears - Love Me Down

I had no idea Britney was releasing an album today. I listened and maybe I'll give a review later. But Love Me Down is everything. Trust me when the bass drops, you'll understand why. I'm honestly trying to figure out why it's not a single.

Caucasian Living with Joanne The Scammer

OMG. I think this is one of my favorite videos of the year. Joanne the Scammer is hilarious and what I want to be when I grow up. The run out of the house. The security camera. Ethnic eggs. My God. This video will brighten your day.

Superfruit's Try Not to Cry Challenge

Are you ready to simultaneously cry and laugh? Well this is the video for you. Somebody sick and twisted had the nerve to come up with this challenge. If you don't cry, you have to be a cold-hearted person. But with this video you're also laughing at them crying while at the same time screaming WHY TF WOULD YOU INCLUDE THIS CLIP?

Race Myths: Shutting Down BS with Chescaleigh

Franchesca Ramsey, also known as Chescaleigh, is a treasure that none of us deserve. She breaks down race beautifully and quite often. But in this video she answers, in rapid style fashion, dumb race questions/comments that we all often see on the internet.

Jay Versace: Kylie Jenner's Snapchat Pt. 2

When he put the swatches on his arm I was dead. Dead.

The Internet Being The Internet With This Breakfast Club Interview with Tory Lanez

My God. Sometimes the simple things make videos so much better. I don't know who edited this video but round of applause. I got a good chuckle from that.

I'm late to the party! I know. I recognize. And I understand. But this week I started season 1 of Shameless on Netflix, and it is so friggin good! If you need something to binge that's equal parts drama and comedy, this is the show for you. Also Shanola Hampton is so fine. We'll get to that on another WCW.

I overlove Portlandia. I have watched every episode no less than 139 times. It's perfect comedy, and knowing that a majority of it is just improv makes it even better. If you like SNL or Key and Peele, you'll definitely like this show. It's witty and funny and season 6 is finally coming to Netflix. So binge watch it so that you can blow through season 6 like I will when it arrives in September.

Politically Re-Active - David Daley on How Republicans Ratf**ked American Democracy

Ever felt like elections are rigged and like everything is a game straight from the pages of House of Cards? It absolutely is. Ever wondered why you should still vote? This is the episode for you. It. Blew. My. Mind. The podcast is equal parts informative and funny, so don't worry you'll have a good time listening to this. But you'll also learn alot, and you'll also want to vote. So make sure you're registered.
